Orbital Clouds — Schrödinger Probability Density
A real probability cloud for the hydrogen-like orbitals, computed from the exact solutions of the Schrödinger equation — correct radial functions (associated Laguerre polynomials) and real spherical harmonics. In 3-D, every dot is a Monte-Carlo sample drawn from |ψ|², so the dot density literally is the probability density. The two hues show the sign (phase) of ψ.

Internal Diagnostics Report
Runs the calculation engines against a battery of known-answer self-tests, directly in your browser. This is the visible health check for Valence — molar mass, the rebuilt empirical-formula pipeline, the molecular-graph Lewis engine (including complex molecules like ethanol and acetic acid), per-atom VSEPR, and precipitation logic.

Lewis Structure Generator BETA
This tool computes bonds, lone pairs and formal charges from a molecule's connectivity — it doesn't memorize answers. It's in beta while edge cases are worked out.
✓ Works well: small molecules & ions (CO₂, SO₂, NO₃⁻, NH₄⁺); condensed formulas (CH₃CH₂OH, CH₃COOH, (CH₃)₂CHOH); and SMILES, including rings, aromatics, charges and hypervalent S/P — e.g. CC(=O)Oc1ccccc1C(=O)O (aspirin), caffeine, ATP. Many molecules also work by name (aspirin, caffeine, ibuprofen, glycine…).
✗ Limited / not supported: guessing a structure from a bare molecular formula or an unknown name (only known names resolve); transition-metal / organometallic compounds (ferrocene, vitamin B12, chlorophyll); and the 2-D drawing gets rough for very large molecules (the per-atom table is always complete).
